HOUSING DIVISION
The Housing Division provides overall development, implementation,
and coordination of City and Agency housing programs. Financing of the varied
housing programs come from a multitude of resources, the foremost of which
are the Community
Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Redevelopment
Agency housing
set-aside funds. Housing activities currently being administered by this Division
are for the benefit of assisting low- and moderate-income families in the rehabilitation
of their homes, in the purchase of their first home or in providing housing
for seniors. Other activities involved in our Housing Division
involve administering public facility enhancements, and new construction of
public facilities.
