We’ll respond within one (1) business day. Where is the Facility? The Facility is located next to San Fernando Recreation Park at 208 Park Ave, San Fernando. Who will run the Facility? The County of Los Angeles will run the Facility on a short term basis. The City is in the process of evaluating the most economically viable process for running the Facility on a permanent basis. What times will the Facility be open? Hours vary month to month, and can be found on our programming page. Will the Facility be open year-round? Yes. Both pools are heated for year around swimming; the average temperature is 80 degrees. At what age can a child be dropped off without an adult? Children must be over 7 years of age, and over 48 inches in height. How do I get a job as a lifeguard? The County of Los Angeles is responsible for hiring lifeguards.
